This Privacy Policy explains how Silver Antler Pty Ltd (ABN 24 681 485 754), trading as Silver Antler (“Silver Antler”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, stores and shares personal information. We are based in Brisbane, Queensland, and we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
By using our website, taking our quiz, booking a call or becoming a client, you agree to the handling of your information described here.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to you and to deliver our services. Depending on how you deal with us, this may include:
- Your name, email address and mobile number.
- Your company name, website and social media links.
- Your answers and results from our brand quiz.
- The date and time of any call you book, and anything you tell us about your business.
- Emails and messages you send us, and files, logos, images and other material you give us for a project.
- Payment and invoicing details for clients, such as billing name and address. We do not store card numbers on this website.
- Basic technical information, such as your browser type and IP address, recorded in the server logs of our hosting provider.
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you when you complete our quiz, fill in the details form, book a call through our Google Calendar booking page, email us, or work with us on a project. We may also collect information from publicly available sources, such as your website and social media pages, to prepare for a call.
Why we use it
We use personal information to:
- Respond to your enquiry and prepare for and run your call.
- Give you quiz results and suggest suitable services.
- Quote for, deliver, invoice and support our work.
- Send you information you have asked for, and, where you have agreed, occasional news and updates.
- Meet our legal and tax obligations, and protect our business and website from misuse.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only where needed to run our business. This includes service providers who help us operate, such as:
- Google, for the calendar and booking page, and for email if we use Google Workspace.
- Cloudflare, for our domain, security and delivery of the website.
- Our website hosting provider, which uses Plesk to host this site.
- Accountants, payment and invoicing providers, and professional advisers, where needed.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We only share what is needed and expect our providers to protect it.
Overseas storage
Some of our providers, including Google and Cloudflare, store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries. We take reasonable steps to choose providers with appropriate security and privacy practices. By giving us your information, you accept that it may be handled overseas in this way.
Marketing and emails
We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We will only send you marketing or newsletters if you have agreed, and every marketing email will identify us and include a working unsubscribe option. Emails about your enquiry, booking or project are service messages and are not marketing.
Cookies and analytics
At the time of writing this website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our booking page is provided by Google Calendar and may set its own cookies under Google’s policies. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy.
Security and how long we keep information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including using secure hosting and limiting who can see it. We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then securely delete or de-identify it.
If we become aware of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected people and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by law.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we are required or permitted by law to keep it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
